As the saying goes, “necessity is the mother of invention”, and that proved true here as well.
After recovering from surgery, Robert’s doctor prescribed a walker to make it easier to get around. Well, a walker was too slow for Robert, so he moved up to a rollator, which means he now had four wheels instead of two.
Being someone who has been active and on the move his whole life, that darn rollator still didn’t move around fast enough to suit him. So, he came up with the idea of connecting a hoverboard to his rollator, and voila, an industry was born.
Some would call this “revolutionary”, but Robert says “heck, I was just trying to solve a problem”.
